Novotel Singapore On Stevens

Staff was very friendly. Rooms are not very big but comfy. Breakfast offers a lot of different kinds of food. The two pools and the free 24h gym are a real plus and enjoyable. The hotel is located quite close to Orchard area (20mn waking). There is a bus stop just in front of it, which is practical. There is also free car park. On the ground floor you can find a 7/11 and different restaurants for all kinds of budget. This Novotel (and the Mercure, which I also tried) is perfect to spend time there and relax, as a staycation. I already stayed twice there and I will certainly do it again in the future.

We arrived at Novotel on Stevens a few hours after its reception area was closed for refurbishment. Arriving guests were being attended to at Mercure Hotel next door and it was chaos with guests, staff and luggage everywhere! Hardly the calm and welcoming reception we expected. However, Deepika was brilliant navigating the transition at reception. She was cool as a cucumber, efficient and cheerful assisting us on our arrival. Overall very nice decorations. Room was clean with all the facilities. Enough space for three of us. We had 3 check in and 3 carry on luggage but everything could fit well and still enough space to walk. Breakfast was amazing. Good choice of continental and Asian food. Staff was really friendly. Shaun from the kitchen was extremely helpful to make eggs as per our liking. Check in and check out process was also very quick. There is a free shuttle from hotel to nearby places and MRT. Bus stop is 5 min walk.

The staff are very helpful. I had booked a small pool party and the process for the reservation was quite smooth.
